Another reason I was viewed as a creep was likely because my social/emotional age was 6 years younger than my actual age in high school.

In other words, when I was 16, I was really 10 on the inside.

Autism wasn't as well-known when I was in high school. While some probably chalked my high school behavior up to autism, way more would be able to tell I'm an autist if I was in high school right now.
