My mother is very extroverted and empathic, her positiveness is almost infective but she‘s not very intellectually skilled.
My father is introverted but very mentally capable and skilled in terms of mathematics, linguistics, physics and even philosophy.
Now guess what I inherited.

And of course I ended up inheriting my moms neuroticism despite inheriting almost all of my physical features from my dad.

My mother can be incredibly neurotic, emotionally charged and non logical
My dad can be angry all the time, very logical and narcissistic

I can be both. I can be neurotic and narcissistic at the same time. I think every one of my mothers siblings apart from two, turned out to have some form of mental illness. The worst being a schizophrenic in an asylum as we speak.

Though I have no physical genetic ailments in my family. Not one person in my family tree has diabetes for instance.
