like 80% of the boys were collecting the cards, watching the anime and/or playing the games in my primary school. It was very NT back then.

liking it as an adult in 2024, like chico is doing now, is very autistic, basement-dwelling and non-NT though. It's a <1% of the population activity now, and it's not 'the cool part' of the population. Way worse than playing obscure videogames even.
