Dieting is extremely confusing to me and I don't want to hop on any extreme diets or whatever but what is like some main ingredients I should avoid and some ingredients I should lean towards?
 
avoid all processed slop, i usually eat after the food guidelines from the 1960s

lean towards meat and some fruits. Try to stay away from processed snacks,foods and grain foods generally

processed foods, seed oils, deli meats, and too much sugar
