difference between ai(ex arimidex) and pct(ex tamoxifin)?

iv been researching and so far all i have gotten was arimidex lowers overall e2 in the body, meanwhile tamoxifen only lowers/stops estrogen from the gnrh pathways?
i also saw another study saying tamoxifen lowers overall e2? somebody explain and tell me which is better to run in a 300-500mg test cycle for 10 weeks
