Difference of jaws coming in from mewing vs natural

After some months on the mewing subs I noticed that everyone who experience forward growth jaws come in almost at a downward angle instead of up & out leaving this weird ass gap between chin and mouth

other theories are

-mewing with incorrect posture
-jaw coming in too quickly
-being recessed from mouth breathing
-genetics (although I’ve seen some with pics when they were younger and it didn’t look so terrible)

anyone discover any links between this and jaws that come in like the other picture linked?
