Idk I've seen some good results out there. It's easy to think it's useless looking at ones that were done to fix alignment/health, but aesthetically I think it can do great things.

in my opinion go for facepullers instead first. usually it's not just the maxilla/mandible being recessed, it's basically the whole skull that's recessed (bad cranial base). if that's the case, you're just putting a patch on the underlying problem. facepulling instead should actually change your cranial base angle if you do it consistently for long periods of time. lefort also takes a lot of time. all in all it takes around 1 year to actually go back to normal life once you've got it.

Shiit I though it was like 6 months, is that because of swelling + braces? So long as I can go outside after a month so I'm fine with gradually looking less bloated.
What effect does good cranial base actually have on facial aesthetics though? Because I'd look good really good if I just had more forward growth.

Only who has a narrow palate or narrow zygos (but highset) should get MSE.
But if you get MSE and than Bimax, how you get forward projection? WITH IMPLANTS (and you need it, because there is a lack due Bimax).

So put Implants with Forward and lateral projection in your midface (zygos and orbital) after Bimaxis the best solution? Yes it is, less painfull and x10 more aesthetics.

A) is the only standard LF1 cut. C-E look more like LF2 and B who the fuck knows.

It's not a case of you 'choosing' which cut you want. The surgeon will determine that in 90% of cases and make a suggestion based on what he thinks you need.

Yeah I understand that the surgeon knows best, but this kind of visual is really helpful for having a discussion of which option will be right for me as I know what I personally want.
Also all of those are lefort 1 as far as I'm aware, because the orbits aren't cut. Pretty sure Lefort 2 is far more invasive and risky for this reason.
Ideally I'd get a lefort 2 instead, but I'll most likely cope by pushing lefort 1 to the limit.
