At a certain level these directors at the top of departments become so high in the hierarchy and run so much shit at once that they become completely detached from the micro processes that go on at the lower level, they only have a few seconds a day to focus on different sections of their department and have no idea what's going on in them because they're so high up. They make the stupidest decisions thinking they're being efficient when in reality they're completely slowing you down and have no idea how dumb the decisions they're making are if they saw them from the micro perspective of a junior worker. Maybe you kids can relate through your McDonald's manager but that's not really the same
