1. Completely wipe Discord from your devices
Uninstall Discord from your phone and PC.
Uninstall Discord.
Clear your browser cookies/cache if you ever used Discord in your browser.
Delete everything Discord-related in %appdata% and %localappdata%.
If you don't know how, just search YouTube for "completely uninstall Discord."
Phones usually delete most app data when you uninstall, so there's less to worry about there.
2. Use a VPN
Before reinstalling, connect to a VPN. Proton is good enough.
On PC use Discord in a fresh browser profile instead of downloading the desktop app again.
Keep the VPN on whenever you're using the account and in general on the internet
3. Make everything fresh
New Discord account.
-New email. I recomend atomic mail bc it has zero access architecture means even they can't read your shit. based in estonia (outside US/EU surveillance pacts btw).
it usses BIP39 seed phrase for account recovery so uh no phone, no backup email, no personal data at all.
hosted in ISO 27001 certified german data centers. unlimited storage, self destructing messages and you can make free accounts asw.
protonmail is pretty feded
-New username.
-Don't reuse anything that could be connectected to your old accounts so don't :
Link your old socials.
Mention your old username.
Tell people you're on an alt.
Just treat it like it's always been a separate account.
4. Don't instantly rebuild your old account
Don't immediately:
Join every old server.
Add your entire friends list.
Make your profile identical to the old one.
Join a couple random public servers first so your account doesn't look like it only exists to reconnect to the exact same people.
5. Take your time joining servers
I'd probably do something like:
1 old server a week.
1-2 random servers alongside it, just use discord.gg/anyword or use reddit
No point joining 40 servers in one day.
If you're in the type of servers that constantly get nuked and use telegram then you can join the new ones and add your friends alts no problem
6. Add friends slowly
I'd add maybe one person every 2-3 days and add randoms.
Even better if they send you the request first.
If it's just your friend group, have someone make a private server so you can chat without adding them.
7. Phone verification
this has been a pain recently
Don't use those free SMS websites they are shit and I have lost so many accounts and have redone that test so many times just for them to limit me
(blocked from entering servers despite my account being fine)
the other day I reentered a number 5x in 10h as if I was a com boss or smth
If you absolutely need a temporary number, spend the dollar or two for a unique one instead of using a public shared number that's been raped by cp spamming bots
you can always steal your siblings or mates phone, verify then block
10. avoid linking bots
they are just spy where even the website can screw ya
11. Nitro
If you buy Nitro, don't use the same payment info that was tied to the old account get a friend to pay for you or use a third party site or even better fuck their money
12. Be patient
don't make it obvious you're trying to rebuild the exact same account.
If your old account isn't restored, then after like a year they delete and anonymize shit so you are safe just never snitch on yourself the AI will get your ass they read every message even pms
