The content is presented to you but it's up to the user to decide exactly how much or how much a facet of yourself matters in your life, if you have to have someone tell you that then it's already probably over and your proactive consciousness has receded to the point that you are no longer self authoring and self determining but reactionary and easily encourageable toward foreign bodies of thought, "like an empty vessel ready to be filled with any idea or image that's fed to you"
Because it really is just one facet, yet but turning the gaze of the eye of sauron to one focal point, it's used as a false flag to get people jumping on yet another bandwagon, it always has to be something to steer you away from true presence
If you break down and isolate your life into factors of what is within your control and outside of your control you will find that you have control over more than you realize, yet people tend to focus on what is outside their control, because it removes the internal locus of the control of the individual and superimposes an external one
Enter into the conundrum, the increasing shaming of the individual for thinking of something so preposterous as to want to better one's self at an individual level, because everything has to be watered down and bandwagonized and be good for the group as a whole; thinking for yourself is selfish, other people should do the thinking for you, and wanting to be better than average is also selfish, because good enough is good enough for the group
To strive for mediocrity, and to fail even at that, but it's OK, because that just means you're average, and people will swoop in from the rafters to tell you that it could be worse, as if any sort of suffering of others is an invalidation of your own, or worse, to tell you that you are more than what you are, thus perpetuating your delusions
Also thru any means possible encourage isolation of the individual so as to invoke the fallacy of isolated perspective and create the illusion that one's experience is unique or different, or special, because people who believe they are special are often delusional, and thus pose no threat to the established order
