I was going to put my savings (around 3k$) into lockheed, google, and maybe a couple other companies and leave it until i am in a situation where i absolutely need it or when it has gained enough for me to be able to do something with it. Im 16, does anyone know if it would be more optimal to stick with dividends or look for more short term trades especially for when I reach adulthood and need money (gonna need to move out pretty quickly)
