I’m into diving and recently got a PADI certification, which basically means I can dive anywhere in the world—so I’m now a certified recreational diver. However, I’m worried that the breathing involved might negatively affect the growth of my facial bones. Will diving actually have an impact, or is there nothing to worry about?

I think the amount of time that you’re diving compared to the time that you’re at rest (time where your bones are going to grow) is likely very small. If you were diving every minute of the day maybe, but since you still have rest time and time to sleep you’ll be fine. Depending on the height it might be a free bonesmash.
