I’m lazy and not doing good formatting
I made my own protocol for DIY whitening, yes it was inspire by pnuemo.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO DO THIS
“Materials
Gingival barrier
Curing light (435–440 nm)
H2O2 44% gel
Mouth openers
Mirror
Micro Brush
Paper Towel
Exposure
First exposure: 15 minutes, 30 minutes. 2 rounds
Stop if: One tooth hurts significantly more than the others
Pain gets worse, not plateauing
Pain intense after removing gel
Heat sensitivity
Mouth prep
Insert mouth opener
Dry mouth using paper towels focusing on gums and teeth
Gingival barrier
Apply to gums, with emphasis on the borders
Curing light
Use for 20 seconds, close to teeth, fanning across each surface
H₂O₂ application
Start a timer
Apply a small amount to each tooth
Place gel in the center of the tooth and spread outward with micro brush after applied to all teeth
Thin layer, fully covering the tooth
Removal
Wait for timer
Blot gel off with a paper towel, starting from the side you originally applied first
If any gel remains, rinse with warm water
Post-care
Brush teeth after 60 minutes”
This was the procedure it is very aggressive, I should have had very clear whitening effects yet it was very subtle at best. The picture without my teeth overlapping at all is the after and was taken a day later. The lighting is very similar in both pictures. I’m considering trying again in 2 weeks with 2 30 minute rounds. The reason I had a fifteen minute one this time was because I was breathing through my mouth and swallowing too much and my throat was burning a lot so I stopped it early.
