Introduction:
What are PDO threads?
PDO threads are basically a string of dissolvable, collagen stimulating material you insert below your skin / tissue. They are used to lift sagging tissue.
How can they cure subhumanity?
If properly used you can temporarily (They dissolve over a prolonged time period), enhance your eye area in somewhat significant ways. we're talking 1-3 mm or 1-2 degrees in clinical research.
They are easily accessible, somewhat cheap and if you fuck up, well then it dissolves and you can try again. (you'll survive)
PDO threads can also make smile lines less noticeable, tighten skin and smoothen it out (through their collagen signaling).
Results (clinical):

(best example i could find)
What are the different kinds of PDO's and where do they need to be used?
1. Smooth (mono): Mostly for skin tightening and collagen stimulation. They do NOT pull any physical tissue. Ideal usage and placement include:
-> Undereyes: They will help with collagen production, therefore make your undereyes appear less hollow. they also surprisingly give support in some cases.
-> Wrinkles or fine lines: pretty self explanatory, collagen.
Results last up to 9 months.
2. Screw (twist/spring): For filling in volume that wasnt there before. These also do NOT pull any tissue. Ideal usage places:
-> Smilelines: Fill in lost volume, and help collagen
Results last up to 12 months.
3. Cog (barbed): These are specifically for pulling and lifting tissue. They also have the nice bonus of collagen production. The barbs act like tiny hooks, that hook into the skin and then pull it in desired direction.
Subtypes:
-> Unidirectional: Barbs face one direction.
-> Bi-Directional: Barbs face in two directions for stronger lift, ideal for jowls and neck.
-> Multi-Directional: Barbs face in multiple directions for securing tissue.
Ideal placements:
-> Eyes, to pull them in desired direction. (up or lateral)
-> Smilelines, (fill and pull similar to a facelift)
Now that we're done with the introduction, let's start with the practice:
Setup:
1. Choose your desired thread, placement and DO RESEARCH. You can buy them off aliexpress for maybe 50 bucks or less.
2. Get all the materials needed from the material list:
=> The threads themselves + the blunt cannula
=> Alcohol swabs
=> A mirror
=> Sterile gloves
=> Pain medication (its decently painful, you may use other drugs as long as they do not impair you)
=> Sterile scissors
=> Sterile knife / scalpel
=> Sterile Gauze
=> Betadine
=> Pen
3. Once all supplies arrived, and you have the time you can start.
Start: (this is for me personally you can follow all the steps just not the way i pin the thing)
1. Clean the table and disinfect it.
2. Pack out all of your materials.
3. Put on the gloves
4. Disinfect the area of your choosing using the betadine ( with me its the whole orbital and zygo)
5. Get all of your materials ready
6. Draw the vector you're pinning, on your face
7. Pop whatever pill you need to take (I'll do 0.25- 0.5 mg xanax for anxiety)
8. Now take out the blunt cannula with the threads
9. Start. You want to pin it not just superficial but a bit deeper the vector a long you just drew. !!IT IS REALLY IMPORTANT YOU DONT JUST GO UNDER THE SKIN YOU NEED TO AT LEAST GO 15mm IN DEPTH!! after you reached your farthest point, which in my case would be the temporal region, you need to slowly retract the blunt cannula so the thread sticks. Once its in its important you dont pull out early.
10. After you're done clean the opening and disinfect. YOU CAN USE BETADINE for this after cleaining !!
11. repeat the process 2 more times, slightly above and slightly below the drawn line but parallel to it for additional support.
12. Keep your head straight and sleep on your back for the following 4 days.
MY PLAN / TRY
I will try to lengthen my eye laterally, by pulling its corner towards my ears (strictly horizontal). I dont necessairily need it but id like to prove the point that the eye region can be changed by softmaxxes if done correctly. Ideally this would give me 1-2 mm of length extra on top of my baseline. I'll do a follow up thread on this and post my results. So stay tuned!
DISCLAIMER:
This is not medical advice, this procedure is highly risky. Only try at your own caution.
