An alar base reduction is a cosmetic procedure in which a surgeon removes a triangular wedge of soft tissue from the base of the nostril to cheek on both sides, followed by suturing the two wounds shut and in effect lowering the frontal width in effect lessening the negative harmonious impact.
While this seems rather simple on paper, and having prepared everything required for this procedure including having calculated every incision down to the exact millimeter. The issue arises when that same millimeter of mistake is created and a cut is either too wide or the sutures are slightly overtightened, in effect potentially having a detrimental impact on facial harmony as the nose is a center trait.
Not sure why I’m writing this considering I’ve performed and documented every step of my self performed looksmaxxes without a second thought in the past, including filler injections I’ve posted about, aqualyx and pdo threads (the latter will be posted as well), I suppose I’d like to hear some thoughts on the idea as I personally have no issue with the physical aspect of it all. This is one of those lesser known diy’s that I’ve seen on here and had the opportunity to speak with someone having successfully undergone this act of what most would perceive as mental retardation.
I’ve been putting in years of work into myself following protocols consisting of altering my endocrine, creating new structure with external injections while sometimes botching myself here or there (posted), soft tissue dissolvers and face lift needles, all to satiate my fascination with the ability to alter anatomy to such an extent. Documenting everything along the way, Ive had some minor work done professionally as well including grafting and silicon implanting, which I plan on posting b&a threads about, once I achieve a certain milestone. I’d like to gather some thoughts anyone who might be reading this textslop might have for the main point of what I’ve written about and perhaps see for myself if what I’m saying is at all coherent enough to be normal enough within everything discussed above
