I’ve been mentally low for a while now. I’m not gonna get too deep into that bc I’m sure u guys don’t gaf but I’ve really been thinking abt burning the ends of lips (instead of cutting) Ik it’ll hurt, but it hurts more looking into a mirror. I’ve also been thinking abt cutting my medial and lateral canthus, I do have a epithatic fold tho so idk what will happen if I cut it. I js wanted to post this to get someone’s opinion and extra info from someone more educated. Anyways Lmk

When ur lips are as wide as ur nose u look unattractive and stupid, some people cut the corner of their lips to try to make the illusion that the lip is wider than nose, I’ve read someone’s forum that said burning it with a hot metal object has better results.

hmmm, these are both very risky but goodluck what is your hope with lateral canthus cutting does it make your eyes look bigger if that makes sense?

If I cut it upwards wouldn’t that improve my canthal tilt the same way a medial canthus cut would? Correct me if I’m wrong tho

i dont think it would give you a similar look to a positive canthal tilt but it might make your eyes look longer like for instance instead of
the image on the left, it might look like the one on the right i honestly have no idea if thats true tho ive heard lip cutting also just makes you look like the joker and your lip heals back the cut tissue.

So basically what I know is that it doesn’t actually grow back, the tissue repairs wherever u cut it, so if u cut it wide, the tissue grows back wider. Now it’s not any ordinary tissue, it’s gonna scar (it scars “good” if u burn it) and that scar makes ur lip look wider.

so it will heal back the skin but not actually add the tissue back that was cut?? resulting in a wider smile??

Shi bru I’m not gonna fs do it but it has been in my mind 24/7 so I’ll keep thinking abt it and doing more research, make sure u careful with that lateral canthus cut bc it’s really close to bone so one fuck up while cutting and it’s over

I've never heard of burning the lateral or medial canthus but burning could be way more severe in a fuck up, cutting is still risky but with something like a scalpel or a exacto knife to be precise might minimize the risk somewhat. Burning could also leave dark scarring forever while if you properly treat a cut it could lead to less scarring or no scarring at all, bettering the results. Since you have a epicanthic fold, that sort of pulls the lacrimal caruncle ( the pink fleshy tissue of the eyes) outward and makes it more visible so cutting your medial canthus could in fact make you look worse because of that more lacrimal caruncle more exposed. You'd be much better off cutting the lateral canthus to sort of even out the lacrimal caruncle on both sides. I have other things to do rn so I cant help so much with the lip cutting but I'll try as much as I can, the mouth has some of the quickest healing factors of the entire body so mouth cutting could heal in potentially 3-5 days if you treat it well like I said before it could minimize scarring but if you don't care about taking care of it it should only leave a darker area of the inner mouth/lips which is not very visible normally even when you open your mouth. Im not too sure about burning any skin or anything but to minimize the risk and for better precision I recommend cutting the lateral canthus and mouth if you are up to it also to prevent infections in those areas make sure to sterilize whatever you use. I've also been thinking of doing mouth cuts, hating my appearance, and been mentally low so we're the same in some ways, I would say things will look up but they haven't really for me so I don't believe in that, stay safe bro.
