This is just a personal log to help me stay motivated during my water fast. I am water fasting to lose the 30 pounds I put on during coronavirus related rotting.

My goal is to fast for at least 72 hours minimum, but I want to see if I can go longer than that (1 week max). I started today at 12:01 am, so I need to fast until 12:01 am Tuesday in order to reach my goal. I will use a 800 mg loading dose of DNP on the first day to accelerate my weight loss, which I will lower to 400 mg throughout the fast. I will drink Snake Juice to replace necessary minerals, and when I break my fast I will eat miso soup, avocados, and Diet Dr.Pepper for my first meal, and on the second day will celebrate with no more than 1500 calories of sushi.

I can tell you that I am already hungry, but I feel ok. I think I can do this.

I'll do my first weigh in tomorrow. If I break the fast before 72 hours pass I will post physique here so that you can fatshame me. If I succeed I challenge @BigBoy to do it next. Lets make this shit a challenge.

I know. Don't worry, I have experience with it. The 800 mg is just to get my blood content at a stable level earlier, I'll take 400 mg on the following days.

Fasting is fast enough really, DNP is not worth the risk. good luck tho

Alright, I made it through my first day.

I ended up puking up my 4th dose of DNP yesterday and dry heaved all over my carpet. I'm trying to get the stain out with Tide but knowing this crap it is never going to come out. When I took my morning dose, I dry heaved again but made it to the toilet this time. I will try taking my evening dose, but I don't think I can keep it down on an empty stomach.

Last night I was so hungry that it was all I could think about, but this morning it isn't as bad. My hope is that it will stay that way.

I am of course sweating like a pig due to the DNP, but I am hanging out next to the AC and playing vidya so it isn't that bad.

I am drinking lots of water, and will mix my first batch of snake juice today.

My weight this morning was 200.6 lb (butt naked)

Alright, that's day 2 over and done with. I just need to survive until 12:00 am tonight and I will have reached my goal. I might go longer, I might not. I will see how I feel today.

I've given up on trying to combine a water fast with DNP, I can't keep it down on an empty stomach. The dose I took on saturday has completely worn off, I am not feeling the heat anymore. Of course, this means I am a bit less miserable this morning, which is a good thing.

One thing I have noticed is that my hunger starts out low in the morning and increases throughout the day. Last night food was literally all I could think about, but right now I barely feel hungry at all (I feel like I want a small snack). But I will probably get hungrier as the day goes by. I have work today though, so that should do a good job of keeping me distracted. I've also realized how much I have been eating out of simple boredom and the desire to derive pleasure from eating. The psychological cravings for my favorite foods are almost as bad as the physical hunger itself.

Snake juice doesn't taste all that bad tbh. I actually kinda like the flavor. I am also drinking sparkling water, which actually helps with the psychological aspect of hunger (since it has flavor).

My weight this morning is 196 lb (butt naked). Even with the DNP and fasting combined, I think most of this loss is water weight.

*Shrug* I lived through it though (though it was probably actually only 600 mg, I puked up the 4th pill). I've seen bodybuilders do 1g, and that as a consistent dose.

My experience with DNP is this, it works: but it's not much selective of what it burns, so I ended up just a downscaled version of myself with 0 definition.
I've also kickstarted a fast with Dinitro's DNP 400mg (two caps), with the intent of "burning" the stored glycogen and reaching ketosis faster.

Imo it isn't worth it.

The way DNP works is by "poking holes" in your mitochondria, which enables electrons to get inside without turning the gears of the electron transport chain (it's really neat), dissipating that energy as heat instead of making ATP. The catch is that it works best if you're using carbs as your main source of energy, since ketone bodies can bypass the electron transport chain.

The sides are harsh, the sweat ruins your sheets (RIP your white boxers/cumrag as well - cum has this radioactive yellow), you sleep like crap and you get your heart racing like you're running even if you're perfectly still. You will also retain water, so that will fuck up your measurements. You do get warm though so that counteracts one of the sides os fasting (feeling cold).

Still I'd try to fast for 72h first to see how you handle it, before trying to push the envelope with DNP.

I'm pretty familiar with the DNP side effects, I've run it before on a more normal diet (and basically found that without strictly counting kcal I would outeat the DNP). I'm not concerned with muscle right now because frankly I don't have any anyway, I stopped going to the gym when corona hit, and will start again once I am done water fasting the weight away.

Yeah I learned very quickly that DNP and water fasting was going to be a no-go, simply because my body would refuse to actually keep the stuff down on an empty stomach. I'll keep the DNP around for kickstarting fasts though, but will probably only take 400mg the first day and none throughout the fast.

I just have 6 more hours to go before I hit 72 (well technically 71), but I think I will hold off on eating until the morning and see how I feel. I want to see if this actually gets easier.

DNP accumulates in your system over time. I have run 600mg daily before and that leads to an eventual blood content level of 1600 over a period of 12 days. 800 mg used once (with proper spacing) wouldn't kill me without external factors (like spending extended time in the sun or a sauna).

400-600 is enough, even st that amount it’s basically the same as 200mg

I won't claim to be an expert on the stuff, but from what I understand it makes your mitochondria less efficient, resulting in heat as a waste product. Thus the worse the sides the better it works, with the danger being that your body literally cooks itself alive.

Alright, woke up in the middle of the night hungry, I'm breaking the fast (I made it to 72). I threw out the majority of my food to avoid temptation (and just to be better organized) so I am having miso soup and a packet of instant ramen. TBH I don't even know if I am going to be able to finish the ramen, it just seems like so much food right now. Which is weird because I feel so hungry (actually I finished the ramen while typing this out, and now I feel full).

I weighed in at 196.8 (before I ate). Weight fluctuates I guess.

I'm fucking proud of myself. This has taught me a ton about the relationship to food I have had ever since coronavirus turned me into a work-from-home NEET. I now realize how much I was just eating out of boredom and a desire for emotional comfort. I think I will start another fast next weekend, and in the meantime restrict calories.

I was going to challenge @BigBoy next but I don't know your height and you might not be done growing (though fasting does release HGH). So I'll let you have your pick between these two options: Water fast for 48 hours (2 days, DNP not necessary), or calorie restriction (500 kcal below BMR) for 2 weeks. Ask some of the dietcels on this forum if you have questions.

Even outside of PSL, being fat (even skinnyfat) absolutely sucks. Losing the weight will make you feel 100% better. I know because gaining the weight made me feel 100% worse. Also if you don't actually have weight to lose ignore everything I just said JFL.

And then pass the torch! Name 3 people on this forum who need to leanmax, and chain them in on it. Leanmaxxing is step 0 in looksmaxxing, and if you aren't lean you aren't trying.

Lol, what worried me, wasn't the dosage. I used to take 1g/day of pharma grade pure DNP. I did several cycles. I know of its half-life, which is the reason that kills so many normies that try it.

What worried me was that you wanted to take the pills with an empty stomach.... Man, I did that as well, and I'll never do it again. I was throwing up my bowels.

DNP and fasting don't go well along. Maybe DNP and OMAD, where you take the pill when you have your one meal.

Or you can do fasting for a set period of time, then switch to DNP to burn those last pounds of fat, because even with fasting, when you come close to low BF%, it slows down. This doesn't happen with DNP, regardless if you're 30% BF or 10% BF, it will burn the fat in the same way according to its dosage.
