im usually on here making roiding posts and whatnot but i'm also a student at a top US engineering school

here's my guide on how to literally do a weeks worth of work in less than a day
bad formatting cuz idgaf, if you don't have the attention span it's over anyways

PREREQS:
1. caffeine + modafinil/addy/some other strongish study drug
2. some sort of app blocker on your phone (or whatever device you get distracted on the most you get the idea)
3. a list of all the tasks you want to do (that can be completed in the same general location)


PREP:
1. categorize tasks into low and high priority
2. plan out the exact order you are going to complete the tasks with the high priority tasks split at the front and end of the list
3. prepare EVERYTHING you need (computer, ipad, notebook, whatever) so that you can get it without wasting much time

EXECUTION:
the goal of this strategy is the maximize the "flow" state you can sometimes get into while working
what you're trying to do is minimize downtime (i.e. time switching between various tasks)

i've found that for me and many others once you start working it becomes easier to do more work, what can often break that is
1. trying to figure out what to do next
2. number one
3. emergencies

you can now perform the HIGHEST PRIORITY TASK first to get you building some momentum
it can be good to put another high priority task afterwards to build up even more momentum if you're the type to get demotivated easily

you'll then switch to doing lower priority tasks IMMEDIATELY NO BREAKS
remember you do not want to stop working, just keep working
the hope is that you'll have worked for long enough at this point so that you don't want to break "the streak"
you want to make yourself feel like it's not worth it to stop

if you start losing momentum or catch yourself losing focus, here's why we don't do all the high priority tasks in the beginning

you aren't allowed to do high priority tasks until the very end, meaning you either get all your shit done or you're fucked



it's very important you follows these rules exactly and don't give yourself any wiggle room whatsoever

here's an example of what I might do:


1. pop pills, go to library, setup computer and ipad and music
2. start with math homework due in 1-2 days
3. do other math homework (staying on topic, again making as little changes to my work as possible to stay in the flow)
4. switch to lower priority tasks: applying to internships, writing essays, working on personal projects
5. only get up for more water and bathroom (eat before or only let yourself eat after all your work is done)
6. finish with computer science homework/project (another high priority)

i can easily work for 5 hours or more, not talking, not really looking at my phone, not going to random websites

i do this once or twice a week, letting tasks buildup and clearing them in one fell swoop
in between these bursts i can do whatever i want: work on hobby projects, get food, whatever


my basic philosophy is very work hard play hard, if it's time to work just do your work



other tips:
1. have a place that you always go to work and don't do anything but work there
2. don't work hungry but work in anticipation for food (like a reward)
3. set semi unrealistic deadlines for each task (estimate how long each task will take you and shave of 20% and try to hit that deadline without compromising on quality of course)
4. if you have one big task you really don't want to do, build up to it by putting some easy to finish, smaller, possible more enjoyable tasks in front of it when planning --> when you get to the big task you'll have so much momentum you'll roll through it


good luck, this has helped me get all my shit done and enjoy my life, hope somebody finds some use

i dont rlly use addy, it's hard to get cuz i dont have a script so i'm using modafinil instead but yeah

with addy you're constantly on this work high, but since modafinil and other nootropics are a lot more gentle planning out your tasks and maintaining your flow is much more important

0 IQ.
"NTs" wouldnt have ADHD and other mental health issues which means things like pills would work less effectively. Having diagnosed adhd means these drugs are more effective
