I've even fallen victim to this myself at the moment. I bought a suction toy (not technically a pump, but similar enough in many ways) that I abused the shit out of recently because I didn't know any better, until suddenly my penis started going numb and I lost sensation. It's now been 5 days, and it still hasn't come back. I can technically still get erect and feel a slight amount of pleasure, but it's 90% gone.
