Coming up on 2 years since I had a molar extracted and the bone loss is getting worse, I see no visible recession as of right now and I don't want that to change, will a dental implant help with that? Bluepilled faggot dentist denied recession from extraction was even a thing :lul:

Extraction doesn’t matter. Biggest chad (facial structure wise) at my workplace is missing a bunch of teeth.

Time and bone resorbtion will catch up to him, he's just lucky he had the genes and development to have good bone structure but the missing teeth will nerf him to a degree, not as much as it would me tho bc my facial structure is far from chad, hence why I'm worried about ANY amount of recession.

the bone density loss will only affect the alveolar process not basal mandible/maxilla or saggital recession (done via icr or recession at the TMJ)

see old people when they lose teeth

it hasn't recessed them but it has caused them to lose the density and thickness in the mandible causing ccw autorotation

I doubt losing molars or premolars would affect you to this level but obviously we wanna keep as much bone density incase you get older and lose your teeth

but this also depends - if u had braces on then they retracted another tooth into that space so the bone density loss wasn't as much as it would be if there was no stimulation of the alveolar bone

@bossman what do you think?

Also you may need a bone graft to stop anymore bone density loss to then have dental implants so to answer ur question yes

your ortho is correct hes not a bluepilled faggot

you will find differing opinions on this, the orthotropic community would scalp me for saying this - i used to believe in this kinda philosophy cuz of tiktok but then I actually talked to orthodontists and read textbooks
