Do all the extras on top of gymaxxing actually do anything?

I eat, I lift. That's it.

Meanwhile I see guys wearing compression gear, using belts and gloves, scarfing down pre workouts and sipping on protein shakes throughout the day, taking 10 different vitamin tablets etc. etc.

I'm skeptical this shit is actually doing much, if anything at all.

My diet is already protein heavy, I take one multivitamin a day and always stay hydrated.
