Out of curiosity, regardless if you are religious or not, do any of you have confidence in the existence of a higher power or divine entity?

No

I find many characteristics attributed to him as contradictory when you apply them to theist books

It is argued that Mathematics proves existence of what has been labelled 'god', as for my stance on this topic I find it to be quite divided.

Are you talking about supernatural phenomenons as an explanation to unanswered questions, or an entity?

Well, this so called 'divine entity' could take the form of anything. However, in my free time I find myself reading a lot about how some forms of mathematics -mainly geometry- can be used to prove the existence of a 'god'.

What denomination are you?
Previously baptist, considered and almost converted to being a catholic but now more of an agnostic at the moment, but still very much close to considering to be baptized and convert to being catholic I just feel very lost when it comes to my religion

Fear not friend, a younger me can relate. During that period of my life I was extremely unsure what to believe.

Are you inferring that mathematics can be used as an analogy to apply in context's with God, or do you believe math directly proves the existence of God?

Is there any "specific god" you believe in or do you believe in the idea (i.e. spirituality)

I agree with this

Even if there was irrefutable proof that God exists, I probably wouldn't be able to get myself to worship him.

This sounds ignorant, until, it is, it's just that I have some form of cognitive dissonance with God. I wouldn't be able to grasp the fact that he exists, and it's unlikely an irrefutable proof of God will ever come soon, so, this is entirely speculative

Thank you :), a lot of my original fears at the beginning were started from my family's hatred of catholics lol, but now its just me contemplating if its true or not and gathering my faith

For me its moreso if im ready to give my life and dedicate my faith to him, it is a very daunting thing when I think about it

As a belief of mine, I consider the golden ratio to be a staple in topics such as this as I believe there is a strong correlation between it and 'god'.

To this question, I do not have a determined response. As I research and learn more about the Occult and Esotericism I feel that it is providing me with knowledge to shape my own view on this matter.
