They're so fucking annoying. They can't keep their beliefs to themselves. I have a vegetarian dad and vegetarian sister. Whenever my mom or I eat meat, my dad says yOuRe eAtInG a MuRdErEd aNiMaL! He even called eggs 'chicken abortions'. Apparently, eating unfertilized eggs that chickens naturally produce is murder. Also, my sister is trying to stop me from eating meat. She thinks that I can grow without it despite the fact she's 5'2, 56kg, and skinny fat. At least my mom is a bit based because she brings home chicken and beef. I feel sorry for kids whose parents are both vegan/vegetarian. Especially the sons. They will end up 5'4 and will have to go to the hospital every time they trip over because of shitty bones.

-long dnr reply-

Im vegan, but became one because of bad allergic reactions with milk and meat. I also have low bodyfat, top tier athletics (tested faster than most track and field runners i know) and no acne. I was like this before though, but i did notice the diet peaked my base aesthetic.

There was a point of time i used to tell my fam about veganism, but never the ones i already knew were shitty people in general. If someone asks me for healthy stuff, i usually recommend them something like kombucha or probiotic foods instead of veganism.

I kind of get your vegan fam tbh. I'm probably biased but i wouldn't trip over them for that. They sound like great people. I live in a tryhard area so i wish i would have had fam who had enough balls and IQ to try things out of the norm, instead of live like simple minded robots. Would have gave me a lot of "life" enrichment. Their annoyance is probably excitement. When u realize u are healthier without meat and milk+eggs food starts to become exciting again. Brings in that creative side, especially imitation vegan foods. Its almost as captivating as how (for example) people here go on supplement rabbit holes.

I feel like eating meat would only really be a thing of interest if it involved hunting your own game, or fishing the waters for your own (the latter i would prefer if not vegan)

Though, I did notice animal diets becoming logically repulsive to me, so id say thats the only con if you are vegan, as it can somewhat create a divide. For ex, im kind of disgusted at milk and think its somewhat subhuman to drink in 2022 (logically, it seems to be plasma and blood/body juice from a stinky, hot animal that shits, and not acceptable unless there's absolutely no food to eat or in 4th world). As well as cheese and eggs.

Eggs are not quite abortion eggs, but its similar in logic to me as cooking an empty placenta, or afterbirth of sorts. Im quite sure it was not something humans came to eat by "instinct", but by desperation or something like that, as i cant imagine someone being appetized by a uncooked, gooey yolk. It looks like bird shit.
