That's the reason. I think genetic differences between races determines their ability to not only create certain music but also "sense" it. For the same reason black rap doesn't appeal to non-blacks in general.

Only european and asian music appeals to me. European musical instruments from the reinassance were a lot more advanced than asian instruments so the music is a lot more sophisticated. I actually really like classical european music but if you cant hear the melody in asian music your just tone deaf though.

I can hear a faint echo of a melody in asian music, but the melody doesn't fully click in my brain like with music made by white people. I'm not saying asian music doesn't have melody when listened by asian people, I'm saying racial genetic differences probably can make it harder for one race to grasp the music of another in the same way different bird species can't understand each other's songs.
