braces causing recession is only in cases which entail premolar extraction common practise for overcrowding/ having a narrow palate

Elastics can bring ur lower jaw forward but it also pulls your maxilla backwards which is why I refused anything other than the brace, i js got a power chain to straighten and that was jt

i have had braces for like 15 months and wear rubber bands while sleeping for like 9 months the rubber bands might have recessed me little bit but it’s mostly negligible i also didn’t get any wisdom extractions but i had to get my pre molars extracted 6 months before braces because they wouldn’t fall out so i don’t know if that affected anything

All the people I’ve known with braces are recessed and have incel face. Literally no way out of it. Everyone that had braces has seemingly always some maxillary recession basically always have a narrow palate. Europe doesn’t expand palate l it just narrows it. Only American niggas get mse or expanders in treatment.. at least I can cope with narrow maxilla and narrow palate giving hollow cheeks and that models have usually narrow palates. But other than that is shit.
