I have a deepbite and doc says me to get braces? Will this fix my chin?

I had this procedure, fucked me up even further, INSIST on a bimax, you must do that.
BIMAX BIMAX BIMAX, cannot stress this enough, camo ortho will NOT fix your issue.

Why Bimax and not BSSO?

Most likely maxilla must be adjusted slightly for the bite to fit perfectly, very rare to only need one or the other.

If it’s minor then just get braces. Camo orthodontics is cope.

So many people fell for that braces meme to fix overbite when it's skeletal in most cases😭

Should i consider bimax even tho my deepbite is minor?

No. A deep bite tends to mean your occlusion planes are wrong. Meaning your maxilla is very CW and your mandible CCW. There tends to also be an occlusion height component and stunted growth of mandible.

How will braces fix all that?

#metoo, I need to reverse my braces before I can get bimax.
Brutal, imagine being already unhappy with your looks and then getting shoved your pre-braces subhuman overbite face into your eyes every time you look in the mirror for a few months. At least it's for the better on the long term.

Can't suffer more than I already am.

Did you have elastics and extractions ?

Elastics yes, extractions no.
I have braces now with no elastics and extractions to straighten my teeth but my orthodontist wants to extract teeth and use elastics to fix bite.I won’t agree to that but do you think they could’ve made damage already?

Braces is not bad for crooked teeth, only to "fix" bites.

Or tho wants to extract 4 teeth he’s crazy. Plus when I asked for a plate expander he said he needs to extract teeth as well. Most of them are sick

I’ll stop treatment and go to a maxillo instead
I got fucked by my ortho for my deep bite, but they had no clue what they were doing on top of that. Instead of recommending me IMDO or something they extracted two teeth yet didn’t use elastics

What’s the point of extracting teeth without elastics, very strange. They’re like the tooth devils!!!!
