no but there are some rubber band positions that will recess you so before you put any on ask your orthadontist what this position is doing to my face

I have damon braces rn and I even got a little bit of foward growth so i don‘t think so

Depends on what you go through during the braces process. I myelf am a victim of this as in i did exprience slight maxillary reccesion due to 4 premolar extractions. Despite my desperate attempts to save myself through tongue posture and good habits, once the gaps closed it was pretty much over. Even after inquiring about miniscrew assisted rapid palatel expansion, i got laughed at by my fucking ortho and rejected. I am going to an ENT so they can actually understand the functional problems these extractions have caused me (Narrow nasal base and struggling with nasal breathing), and actually give me an expansion rather than looking at the fucking teeth and bite.
