I already lift. Can you get the same results and benefits from calisthenics that you get from lifting?

Takes 10x longer but usually gives a more aesthetic physique IMO

Ofc not, with lifting you can progressively overload easier + not as much fatigue, since you have to do a tonna reps after a while

What if I did lifting and calisthenics at the same time?

read convict conditioning

It's all just about muscle exertion. Of course calisthenics works. It's the exact same premise as gym. Except it's a lot more fun and natural

def takes longer but i think its better because it forces you to balance your body
like you cant train your arms if you're fat as shit because you cant even do the exercise

it could be more fun, but the movements are too hard and at the start you will increase mainly strenght since you can only do a few reps, also the funny part of calisthenics start when you already now the advances moevements

If you're natty route, I think calisthenics mog. You need to be lean to do calisthenics and on average natty calisthenics mog natty normie gymcelling.

Yes. Just focus on pull ups. And do them throughout the day. You want your "workouts" to be enjoyable and sustainable. And it's more natural to exercise throughout the day

I was thinking about switching as well, but I might be too old already tbh. It takes a while to get good in calisthenics
