will consistent calisthenics at 14 actually catalyze a measurable increase in endogenous hgh secretion and osteogenic activity or am i just deluding myself with placebo-induced discipline routines? i’m doing progressive overload with only bodyweight, full rom, scapular control, slow eccentrics, clean reps daily, no skips. i’ve read that adolescence is the prime window for skeletal mineralization and hormonal leverage, so theoretically this should optimize growth plate stimulation and structural reinforcement, but idk if the actual physiological impact is significant enough or if i’m just stalling under the illusion of productivity while real bone mass gains are locked behind genetics and unhackable endocrine ceilings.
