Do carbs from fruits bloat you the same way carbs from grains do or is it less?

Absolutely the same for me. If I binge on half a kilo of bananas, no different than eating 200g of chocolate. Makes your face look like shit for a good 24-48 hours until you purge it with clean food for the next 24-48 hours.

Salt is also a looks killer that acts on a delay, 12-24 hours after a large salty meal, almost everyones face looks older and bloated.

Most people who don't really pay attention to their looks (i.e. normal people) don't even realize what a huge difference lean eating for a few days (or a water fast) can make in creating a much more appealing face with no other effort than abstaining from excess junk food.

"Chad eats pizza" is a stupid meme because even models eat very clean (or even water fast) before photoshoots to avoid a bloated face.
Facial bloat detracts even from the most attractive person in the world, let alone everyone else.

Fat, carbs, salt, they are factors, you can often eat lot of carbs without being too bloated, but it gets insane if you eat lot of salt and fat.

Also the speed of carb assimilation is important.

But basically place your carbs before, during, and after your sport and activities, bloating is water plus eventually carbs ready for muscles, so they are waiting to be used.
