Do contact lenses have any long term effects?

I'm a low iq user so don't judge. Is there anything that would looksmin the eye area overtime or am I safe? I plan on getting laser eye surgery down the line so i guess i wouldn't wear them for too long. Also any tips for getting these fuckers in and out? It's extremely tough. Ricecels how do u do it since i can barely get it with my eye area?
