I’ve seen threads on here that say wearing contacts will make your eye skin sag and make your eyes look weird is this true? Dies anybody have bad experiences with contacts?

Yes, your upper eyelid will start to droop
Doesnt matter if u get surgery tho (what I'm planning on doing)

Just wear contacts for a few hours everyday when you go out and you need it, use glasses for vision otherwise
All the shit about drooping eyelids is mostly a cosmetic concern of women, who don't have prominent brow ridges and have more distance between their brows and their eyes on average.

Definetely true, especially for toric contacts that are heavier. They make your eyes droopy. Also if they dry up your eyes then you look sleepy and weird by teh end of the day which is death-tier if you have a date in the evening or something

If possible try and get LASIK/PRK/SMILE/ICL after 25+

This is what I’m planning on doing but idk if it’s wearing them that makes the eye drop or the process of taking them in and out since you have to spread your eyelids to put them in and take them out

All I can say is try wearing Air Optix contacts, they are the most comfortable and thinnest brand
Regular glasses won't work unless you are a straight up Chadlite

Air optix vs oaysis? I’ve only used oaysis till now but they seem quite nice

Apparently it’s not caused by the contact itself but people pulling in the eyelid and area around the eye, but I’m skeptical. I feel like a plastic cover on your eye is bound to alter your muscle memory/structure somehow.

Either way though, I’m much more careful when putting on/taking out contacts now, I try to just pop it on the eye and touch my face as little as possible

Yeah hopefully I can get good at putting them in and just open my eye wide and not have to pry the eyelids apart

So are glasses better?
No, They are the biggest failo ever
But if you get contacts and don't use them super often then you should be fine
