I theorize that cranial sutures act the same as growth plates in your tiba or any other bone for that matter.

They create new ostecytes based on hormone signalling however they DO NOT respond to mechanical forces such as chewing, mewing, thumbpulling, etc. at ANY age.

Yes even a one year old won’t see results from hard chewing or god forbid thumbpulling at any level.

Then there’s the palate expander argument, I argue those don’t stimulate the mid palatal suture but rather break the bone at its weakest point, creating a gap for new bone to lay down, the same mechaninisms as limb lengthening surgery or distraction ostegenesis appliances.

Would a high iq nigger please confirm or provide logical counter arguments.

saying sutures don't respond to mechanical forces at all is retarded asf and its very studied especially during growth even if hormones are the main driver. That's basically how palate expanders work they apply enough force to separate the suture and the body's mechanical response lays down new bone, similar to distraction osteogenesis. I do agree that chewing, mewing, or thumb pulling probably don't generate anywhere near enough force in teens and adults, but in young children it is medically documented proper tongue posture causes changes in face. Its cope for everyone old enough to participate in looksmaxing.

I have done very little research on the matter, my instinct is not to trust the science on most things. However if you claim sutures respond to mechanical loading then in theory thumbpulling can generate bone growth.

all bones respond to mechanical loading. and i dont mean local loading, i mean literally all bones
