Do dense eyelashes even look any better in combination with dark colored eyes?

i find the combination of dense eyelashes and light eyes to appear very striking, something like this:

seeing it now, i guess it cant hurt having dense eyelashes, even with dark eyes. but does anyone have a depiction of these two things on a person?
