Well to give an example back when I looked somewhat decent:

- First time you see her nothing happens.
- Second time nothing happens.
- Third time she hits on you.

This can apply for school, work, social circles, whatever...

What I understand is that someone gl isnt likely to hit on someone right away JUST LIKE THAT. Specially women cuz they have tinder and there are many Chads there.
