Do good lateral orbital rims just mean your cheekbones have strong lateral projection?

Or does it refer to the forward projection of the lateral orbital rim due to cheekbone shape and upper maxilla projection?

You can have good lateral growth but insufficient forward growth. My zygos are very wide and so is my lateral rim yet it’s still not forward enough.

Your zygos can be wide but lack prominence. This will mean that your lateral rims are wide, but the actual bony mass is small so there is no stretching of the skin around the side of the orbits.
