Do guys think the metaverse or VR games will ever take off?

Really was excited at first but then it sorta became a nothing burger. VR chat is somewhat fun but you need 3 grand to get an immersive set up not just 300 dollar oculus. At that point I would invest in a good pc set up.

Also makes me feel sick if I use it for longer then 4 hours and there's no good games besides vrchat

I haven't tried VR games or anything so I can't speak from experience but it seems much easier to just develop normal games tbh. I think the most likely use case of VR unironically will be VR sex booths where you watch a video and a machine sucks you off simultaneously.
Full body VR is the only VR that'd be worth playing but that's like 15 years away.

People have sex in VR chat. Tried my friends set up he had this skin suit.

It was weird asf I could feel people putting their hand on my shoulder in game and there are mods where people have a fleshlight and use it in game. Although that seems really gross. I just thought it was interesting I could feel touch irl. I talked to a girl in game while having it on and she put her hand on my shoulder and while talking and for a moment I forgot I hadn't gotten touched by a girl in 1 year.

But like this costs thousands of bucks I think he only had it because his dad worked at a gaming company and got a discount. You need a lot of money to really make VR at all enjoyable. And even still its uncomfortable asf to wear
