Do height stretches work?

I’m 5’6 and a half at 16. It’s miserable. I want to grow my height but after doing some research I’m getting only scientific data saying the same thing. So I wanted to ask anyone on here who may give me an answer? Preferably someone who has experience with stretches and how it influenced their height if at all. Thanks
