Aren't most people talking about the side profile when they mean crescent moon looking face?

I think they are, and that usually means a recessed maxilla.

Considering you seem east asian, it's likely you have a flat maxilla.

Doesn't make your side a crescent moon, but doesn't mean it's ideal either.
