you often cant tell if you have a deviated septum by looking at your nose from the outside. A deviated septum doesnt mean your nose is crooked. Put one finger into your nostril and then into the other nostril and maybe feel your septum. If one side has less space then you probably have a deviated septum. Also if you have trouble breathing from one nostril compared to the other you probably have a deviated septum.
