Do I have a narrow palate?

The usual rule of thumb to a good smile is to have 10 teeth show when smiling. I asked my orthodontist if a palate expander would help fill out the gaps in my smile but she said no; that different skulls have different smiles or some bs like that. So my question is: is my palate actually fine or should I consider something like MARPE and larp sleep apnea or smth to get it? Can invisalign make your palate wider aswell? Aesthetics Waiting had good results from that iirc.
