Do I have a recessed maxilla?

I feel like I have an overbite, and think braces would fix. Braces aren’t what cause a recessed maxilla right? Isn’t it the bands they add. My teeth fit in a weird way unfortunately. Idk what to do

All the pics I see of bimax surgeries are people with underbites. Changing where my teeth sit from my analysis would bring more jaw protrusion. I have a “mild over jet and overbite” which the dentist said would be alleviated through braces, and since I’m older maxilla wouldn’t be affected, especially if I opt out of using bands.

Bimax can be peformed for every sort of occlusion, just the amount of movement differs in different cases

If this were true his midface length would have increased someone did the measurement and it was exactly the same

Midface doesnt change if you get cw+maxillary downgraft like it doesnt change when you get ccw.
