No the stubble doesnt really nerf you fr, just keep it and / or grow it out and if it doesnt work out then try without any hair. A lot of people can pull off this type of facial hair usually if you want to grow it quicker you can get topical/oral minoxidil even though that is typically used for other areas of the face
