Do I have SFS or just a dental deep bite?

Hey guys, I need some honest opinions. I’m trying to figure out whether I have sunken midface (SFS) or if it’s just a dental deep bite making it look that way.

When I smile, my gums and teeth show quite a bit, and when my jaw is relaxed, my lower third looks short — but when I jut, it looks more balanced.

Could it be skeletal or just dental? I’ll post some photos below for reference.

a deep bite forces the lower jaw into a more backward and upward position, which can make the entire lower third of the face appear vertically shorter or disproportionate the traits u describe are highly consistent with deep dental bite tbh It is unlikely u have true sfs in a way unrelated to your bite issue, but rather that the malocclusion is causing the specific facial aesthetic concerns you've noticed i hope this helps answering ur question bhai

Thanks it helped a lot
How can I fix it tho?
Herbst appliance ?

HA usuallly only works on kids, i recommend you getting braces and obviously talking to professional so he can give you a self customized diagnosis however dental implants to rebuild the worn teeth and create a proper bite would def help

I visited a dentist, and he said I will need braces and tooth extraction to fix my deep bite.
