Do I need new shoes?

Pinkie toes are peepin out a bit but the shoes are comfortable enough and still work. Hate to see my family use money on new shoes for me that could go to video games or fast food for me.
The shoes are an 8.5 American men’s size
My foot appears to be 9.5 or 10 size

I’m thinking that if I have lower tier shoes that the black people in my town will be less likely to rob me. My town is slowly getting more and more BLACKED as of late. I don’t really leave my house much as it is though.
