Do i need to take a break from using tret everyday?

Been using it everyday since july and i feel like im not getting any progress and like my skin looks a little worse , texture wise . My skin is clear of acne but i have so much red spots , hyperpigmentation and my acne scars look more pronounced

Space out your tret usage until your skin gets used to it and try not to apply too much. Also moisturize your skin every time you apply the tret. If your skin is still rough/dry then lower your concentration
