Do I still need to use sunscreen in the winter?

I use vitamin C serum and retinol for my skin and almost all websites I look at say that sunscreen is an absolute must when using these. Does this still apply to me even though I live very close to the arctic circle and barely see the sun for 9 months or so every year?

yeah I know I have spf 30 at home and even use spf 50 in summer. It's just that I don't know if I should in winter since it's so long here and I get extremely deprived of sunlight

Yeah, just swallow supplements. There's a minuscule difference between different SPF levels, doesn't matter really.
