Do I surplus or cut then surplus to max out puberty gain?

In most of these puberty protocols I’m seeing eat at a 300-450 surplus but they’re also saying stay around 12-15% bf. I’m 14 5’7 135~ not much muscle I’ve been on 300 cal surplus as well as other things for puberty maxxing. If I had to guess I’m around 20% bf or so which leads me to wonder if I should take a slight cut or eat at maintenance until I reach around 15% bf or to just continue the surplus?

Definitely cut back to about 14% bodyfat do it slow and remember you can still gain muscle on a cut. Mark as solution
