do i use tretinoin for the whole night or should i start gradually?

i was already using adapalene a few months ago should i start gradually again or apply it for the whole night from the first use?

do whatever you want. Some derms recommend short-contact therapy (leaving the product on just for short periods) for your skin to get used to the retinisation without massive irritation.

But at the end of the day, your skin will have to retinise either way, so i just pushed through the irritation in the beggining.

Personally i only apply retinoids for some hours then wash them off anyway

i will switch because tret is stronger i didn't notice difference in my acne even though i was using adapalene for 4 months

personally i've gone back to adapalene btw. Didn't see any additional benefits with tretinoin, only increased flakiness of the skin.

Then again im only using it for anti-aging.

i'd recommend a few days a week then build it up from there
keep it on a few hrs before wash (google says 2)
