Do inward gonions have less bone, or is it just the shape and mass is the same between all angles?

So little information on this online, can't even determine what it is caused by; hormones? Lack of chewing? Nutrition?
All of the above?

genes and chewing i think

genes and chewing i think
Genes no, its a dimorphic trait, men shouldnt have inward gonions genetically.
But could be that well developed muscles allow for the gonion to grow outward by supporting it, idk
Could also be that in the case that outward gonions DO have more bone mass (original question of this post), chewing activates osteoblasts or something

I have very basic surface level knowledge and it enrages me

there was a thread about chewing in long term lead to outward gonion but idk.

You have a theory for the the potential mechanism in which it works?

Prenatal T.

Prenatal T.
I dont think thats true.
I have all the signs of high prenatal T: finger ratio, taint size, nose length
Yet my gonionons are incredibly inwards

They're somewhat genetic, my dad has them and i have them too

Chewing no. I used to bite on everything and very hard when I was a child. I chewed my sheets

Result : inward gonions

Interesting, did you also have developed masseters as a child?
So you think outward gonions have more bone mass?

Could be that you had similar soft diets no?
Probably that, but i have several other examples where people chewed hard food but still inherited inward gonians

So this would support outward gonions having more mass

it’s usually genetics and the shape, you can still have inward gonions with decent bone mass

I had a theory that there are muscles that are too taught pulling them inwards holding back gonial eversion.

I chewed 4 hours + from age 3 to 18 everyday. The side i used to chew on more is slightly more flared than the other. If done during the developing years of the skull it defiy helps. After 14 it’s cope imo

Why the fuck would you've been chewing 4 hrs a day from age 3? Like wtf

i ahve bruxism i can confirm. one side is defentially more developed then the other fromc hewing in daytime but it's kinda rounded out from grinding at night

should've chewed more when u were younger, brutal.

What are you doing to solve bruxism?

bro there is nothing i can do apart from mse/marpe/djs im 15 lol
its ok tho it keeps my masseters big

Interesting, but what do you think causes those muscles to become tight? Could it be relatwd to tongue and neck posture?

are you sure it's not just the masseter being more developed on that side? Can you feel the difference touching the underside of mandible?

He found this site at the age of 3
chewing addiction + bruxism since i basically had teeth.

Yeah, also your zygos will be more laterally projected on that side. But for me both sides are equally very wide.

My right masseter was a bit bigger than the left, however on my ct scan you can clearly see that my gonions are flared and overdeveloped

Alright makes sense then, your jaw is bloated or?

Yeah a lot, i have done masster botox, surgical muscle deactivation and they made my gonions/mandible narrower. Have to leanmaxx to auschwitz levels to resemble a human but all of that works pretty well

How's the rest of your craniofacial development?

Fuck, i thought it would develop the maxilla, zygos, supras etc...
It definitely helps, i would have been even more truecel than what i actually was if i did’t chew

Looked at your ct, It seems to me both are flarws outward just that the right one has more mass

Yeah both are flared, right gonion is bigger. Technically bot of my masseters were equally big but the left one was more stretched all over my mandible while the right one was more “clumped up” making it seem bigger

did you exclusevly chew on one side? Interesting how your left is also outwards, wondering if its possible to have different gonial eversion on each side.
So you think someone could have alot of gonial bone mass but still be inwards?

I chewed like maybe 65 % on the right side and the rest on the left, so both got good training if you consider the amount of chewing. Idk, people with flares gonions almost always have a robust lower third so my guess is probably not. Never seen someone with a weak jaw ahving flared gonions

True. Will be interesting to see a case of someone chewing 100% on one side tho
Do you think inward gonions could be genetic? I dont

I do think so. Chewing could help flare them at least a little. The reason why i think they are genetic is because flared gonions are. Do you really think everyone with flared gonions chewed consistently (not to the extent i did but at least a little here and there) ? Seems unlikely to me

Same, sure they most likely chewed properly and everything, but nothing out of this world.
